Sammanfattning

In this project i have focused on creating a hybrid building that is aimed as a wetland center and a local community association. The reason for creating a wetland center is because during earlier projects I focused a lot on how wetlands work and how they are a very important part in our ecosystem. Wetlands contribute too many functions that benefit both people and the planet. I noticed a general lack of knowledge around this subject and wanted to create a place to educate people. In the area that I worked in during this projekt the local community association was large and proud of their community. However they lacked a dedicated space to hold their different meetings and activities in and I wanted to create a place that answered to them also. The goal of creating a building that mixes the two groups of visitors and users of the building I wanted to create a place in countryside of Eskilstuna that allowed spontaneous meetings.
