Sammanfattning

In this thesis, human-nature connection is explored as a relational approach to sustainability. It is situated in the interaction design sub-area of more-than-human design. Through a RtD process, contemplative photography is explored as a way of noticing the MTH-world, to increase the chance of coming into contact with it. The concept of Becoming with a tree is suggested in the form of an app. Including a visual contemplation, done through the smartphone camera, and a subsequent reflection. These are framed by a MTH-story aiming to cultivate a connection between humans and trees in an urban setting.
