Sammanfattning
Air-based Building-Integrated Photovoltaic-Thermal (BIPV-T) facade systems offer the potential to simultaneously generate electrical and thermal energy; however, their performance remains difficult to assess due to the limited availability of flexible experimental platforms. This thesis proposes a design concept of a full-scale experimental test bench intended to enable controlled investigation of key parameters, including variations in cavity geometry and ventilation conditions. The approach combines structural design with a general measurement framework to support energy-based system analysis. The feasibility of the proposed solution is evaluated at the design stage in terms of structural, functional, and operational requirements. The results indicate that the developed concept can serve as a flexible platform for experimental studies of BIPV.
