This project addresses the operational challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that rely on multiple disconnected software tools to manage their business. For many growing companies, information regarding sales, inventory, and accounting is often scattered across different platforms, leading to redundant manual tasks and a high risk of data errors. This research focused on developing a tailored, niche-specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a sustainable fashion brand to centralize these functions into a single, cohesive digital core. While large-scale business software exists, it is often designed for mass manufacturing and lacks the flexibility needed for niche models that prioritize demand-driven production. The system developed in this project uses a modular, layered architecture that separates the user interface from the internal business rules and data storage. This design ensures that the system is both scalable and maintainable, allowing it to act as a reliable “System of Record” for the organization. The implementation successfully synchronized core business processes, including multi-warehouse inventory management and complex order tracking, with external financial and regulatory platforms. Evaluation results confirmed that the system achieved full logical consistency across all functions and demonstrated high resilience. Specifically, it proved capable of handling failures in external connections without corrupting internal data. Ultimately, the project shows that a customized digital foundation is essential for specialized enterprises to achieve digital maturity. By improving information flow and matching production more closely to actual demand, the system directly supports the company’s sustainability goals, reducing material waste and providing a transparent, auditable framework for future growth.
