Sammanfattning

This report describes the development of a radio jamming system targeting droneremote control link operating in the 2.4 GHz Industrial, Scientific, and Medicalband. The main objective was to design, implement, and verify a complete transmission chain based on a Software Defined Radio, including a custom-built directional Yagi-Uda antenna integrated into a 50 ohm impedance system. The hardware was constructed using a commercial HackRF One, an external power amplifier (SE2431L-EK1), and a high-gain Yagi-Uda antenna with a 3D printed antennastructure. The antenna performance was tested in an indoor environment usingan antenna analyzer. The complete jamming system was tested using the threejamming signals: barrage, sweep, and frequency hopping. The entire jamming system performance was evaluated. The results showedthat the final antenna prototype achieved excellent impedance matching 53,61 +j0.13, and a gain of approximately 10.7 dBi. In addition, an outdoor field test wasconducted and successfully neutralized the drone’s remote controller and videocommunication link at the 2.4 GHz band, and caused video high lag at a distanceof 100 meters. In conclusion, this project demonstrates the practical design of a custom YagiUda antenna and the generation of the jamming signals to neutralize a remotecontrol drone’s communication link within the 2.4 GHz Industrial, Scientific, andMedical band.
