The research problem for this study is to investigate how to visualize the information resources that is in Region Östergötland’s possesion. The main objective ofthe study is to through design methods, design a interactive prototype that will beuseful for information security workers and workers responsible to uphold the levelof information security in the organisation. The different methods that were used tofulfill the research questions were through interviews, analysis, demand analysis andthen designing the prototype through the tool Figma. The key results were that theparticipants found the prototype to be useful and found neccessary information thatare relevant to their work. There were some issues with the prototype however inthat the design was not able to always communicate information to the test user ifthey were not familiar with terms being used in information architecture and information security. This made the user experience confusing. The conclusion for thestudy is that the prototype was successfull and can be enhanced by allowing a longertime period to reveal further information about neccessary functions that information security worker wish to see. It is also required that Region Östergötland keepdeveloping the information architecture to further develop the architectural termsand thereby making them understandable for the normal worker. More participantsbeing interwieved and testing the prototype that are relevant to the target groupwould also further allow development of the research question.
