This study examines how large-scale expansion and the green transition in Skellefteå municipality have affected local population development. following the establishment of the Northvolt battery factory. Skellefteå has experienced rapid growth and societal transformation. the study aims to investigate whether this growth has been evenly distributed across the municipality or if it has reinforced existing centre-periphery relationships.
