Odling på den gemensamma bostadsgården : En fallstudie av ett odlingsprojekt i Falun

Community gardens have become a popular strategy for addressing environmental and social goals in urban areas. Collaborating to achieve shared objectives can contribute to social and ecological values that are fundamental to a wellfunctioning and healthy society. This study examines a cultivation project carried out through a collaboration between a market garden and a housing company in Falun. Through a case study, the research investigates how the project’s stated aims are translated into practical implementation, and what effects it has on social life and well-being. The results showed that social interactions, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and inspiration were positively affected, while also highlighting that a sense of community should not be taken for granted in cultivation projects. The conclusion is that the design and implementation of the project influence how successfully its formulated goals and purposes can be achieved.
