Sammanfattning

The research study explains how an organizational practice can configure employee integration experience in multinational corporations operating specifically in Sweden. Here, we particularly focused on differences between Blue-collar and White-collar employees. Previous research mainly acknowledged managerial strategies, headquarters’ control and structural coordination for organizational integration, while employees' experience was less explored, especially for those who work at the micro level. It is a qualitative case study where an abductive research approach was followed using primary data and then they were analyzed using thematic analysis. A semi-structured interview was conducted to accumulate data from 12 participants all employed in multinational companies in Sweden. Both Blue-collar and White-collar employees participated in the interview so that it can be easy to capture differences in communication, work culture, integration experience and organizational practice. The findings of the analysis demonstrate that organizational integration is strongly influenced by communication style, workplace culture and organizational structures. White-collar employees have good communication access, career growth and development opportunities rather than blue-collar employees.
