Kvicksund can attract with exceptional proximity to Lake Mälaren with its long shorelines. Even so, access is still beyond the reach of most people. Just to the south of Kvicksundsbron, below the train station and in the heart of the community, I have therefore chosen to place my project. The existing boat club will have its operations upgraded: New winter storage options for approximately 75 boats. 2. A new workshop with dedicated places for maintenance of leisure boats. 3. Conference rooms, office spaces, café and kitchen 4. Roof terraces, parking facilities, playgrounds and outdoor gyms where boats are stored in the winter. The main grip in the design is based on modules. 1. 6500 x 10500 prefabricated concrete modules from the neighboring "Abetong". Scaffolding for winter storage of boats of the same dimensions. These are combined in a dynamic and space-saving way. The building is transformed twice a year into something completely different.
