Sammanfattning

This thesis presents the work completed over the duration of six months, from 1st April to 26th September 2025, to fulfill the internship and master’s thesis requirements of my degree, conducted within the Propulsion team at The Exploration Company (TEC) in Bordeaux. As part of the Propulsion team at TEC, my work primarily focused on the mechanical design of custom adapters to interface electric pumps with the pump test bench, the calibration of load cell data for the Water Test Bench (WTB), the development of a Python-based data analysis framework for processing sensor data acquired during electric pump testing and hands-on tasks related to assembly, integration and testing of the pump test bench. Tools such as Siemens NX were used for mechanical design, while Python libraries including numpy, pandas and matplotlib supported data analysis. These e orts will be useful in supporting the validation and characterization of pumps intended for use in the Huracan engine, ensuring compatibility with the test setup and enabling e cient performance analysis. The outcomes of this work are expected to support ongoing development and testing activities within the Huracan engine team.
