Sammanfattning
In this thesis we present and prove the seminal duality theorem for Lp -spaces due to Frigyes Riesz and Stefan Banach. To accomplish this, we will review fundamental concepts in measure theory and Lebesgue integration, as well as a number of well-known results by Hölder, Radon and Nikodym, and Lebesgue.
