Sammanfattning

To meet the EU and Swedish net-zero targets, the renovation wave is essential, as 75% of European buildings remain energy inefficient. Climate Smart Renovation offers a holistic path by combining mitigation and adaptation, yet adoption is still a challenge due to fragmented markets, high transaction costs, and a lack of integrated financial and insurance mechanisms. This research develops a Sustainable Business Model Canvas to transition the One-StopShop from advisory service into a high trust, financial driven ecosystem. By using aqualitative mixed approach, including a semi-systematic literature review and a stakeholder interview, the study integrates banks, insurers, and SMEs into a unified service chain. Findings identify the OSS as a critical technical gatekeeper that provides the verified performance data needed to unlock green financing and reward building resilience through risk-based insurance pricing. Finally, the proposed SBMC serves a strategic blueprint to align stakeholder interests, transforming renovation from a high-risk expense into a long-term resilience investment.
