To aid the development of innovative electric transportation, the implementation ofefficiency monitoring systems is essential for gathering the data necessary for performanceoptimization. A comprehensive system capable of measuring power, harmonic distortion, andwaveform characteristics within a marine electric driveline provides valuable insights to helpresearch and development of such drivelines. Additionally, the integration of position andexternal force measurements allows for correlation analysis with electrical data, furtherenhancing the system's overall utility. The system distinguishes itself by being portable,waterproof, and user-friendly. It uses three Raspberry Pis to sample data in the KHz range,process it and visualize it without noticeable delay. The final system measured data reliably butwas, under certain circumstances, disturbed by EMI. The system allows for seamlessinstallation on a multitude of marine vessels, showcasing its viability for practicalimplementation. This successful demonstration illustrates the feasibility of employing suchmarine efficiency monitoring systems, paving the way for future advancements in the field.
