Improved documentation enables moreaccurate assessment of the pumps condition and maintenance planning. Thecurrent practice, which involves renovation of the pumps every six years andreplacing the gaskets reactively, is contrasted with a proposed methodincorporates regular inspections, pressure tests, and condition monitoringusing techniques such as shock pulse and ultrasonic. The aim is to optimizemaintenance and extend pump life.
