More than Blood : Self-love and Acceptance in Endometriosis

This project explores how visual communication and illustration can be used to createemotional support and awareness around endometriosis. The outcome consists of a digitalplatform and an illustrated card set designed to provide comfort, self-care guidance, andrelatable representation for people living with endometriosis. The project combinesresearch, visual experimentation, and user testing to investigate how design cancommunicate invisible pain and femininity in a sensitive and empathetic way. Throughoutthe process, the visual identity evolved from bold awareness-campaign aesthetics into asofter and more minimal self-care approach. User feedback played an important role inshaping the final outcome, particularly regarding illustration style, emotional expression,scale, and color palette. The project highlights the importance of emotional connection,accessibility, and representation in design related to women’s health and chronic pain.
