Sammanfattning

This work implements and compares algorithms for automatic scheduling, resource allocation, and resource assignment in the context of hardware synthesis of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms on custom architectures. The implemented scheduling algorithms show promising results for recursive and non-recursive DSP algorithms. The resulting resource allocation and assignment algorithms are shown to be capable of minimizing the amount of hardware required to implement the given schedules. All results are made publicly available as part of the Python library B-ASIC.
