Återkopplingen i en digitaliserad skola : Lärares uppfattningar om hur deras didaktiska val påverkar hur elever lär sig av deras återkoppling

The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers in middle school, grade 4-6, work with feedback in their didactic choices in a digitalised school. The purpose of the data collection has been to intercept how teachers resonate about how the digitalisation has affected their work with giving feedback. The reasoning refers to how the digital tools create opportunities and restrictions in the process of giving feedback. The study is based on 13 qualitative and semistructured interviews with teachers who are actively working with Swedish as a subject in middle school. The results show that the analogue respectively digital feedback bring different kinds of opportunities and restrictions which affect the form of the feedback. The participating teachers carry different grounds of preferences of the two working methods or a combination of the two. Several participants also turn to verbal feedback because it is an effective method of working with feedback in a time restricted profession. The conclusion of the study is that the digital resources are not used to their full potential within the practice of the school. This is due to teachers carrying different grounds of experiences as well as a big shortage of competence development of digital tools within the operation of the Swedish schools.
