The requirement of reliability in military vehicles is essential and has to be tested accordingly. BAE-systems has expressed their need for a standardization of this type of testing and a way to preform it. To accomplish this there is a necessity that testfacilities and test tracks are well documented to plan tests with certainty. Therefor classification and assessment of terrain had to be carried out. Based on this, the affected test facilities have been well documented where different tracks accessibility and RMS-values are explained. With the information in these documents a planning tool was created in Microsoft Excel to enable an easy planning of reliability testing. To perform these tests in a repeatable way discussions and demo testing have been carried out, the conclusion is that an interactive driver display would be a perfect tool for this. A visual demo tool was designed in Microsoft PowerPoint to demonstrate how a tool like this would work. In case of further development of a test planning application, a scheme of relevant and desirable functions has also been delivered.
