Sammanfattning
This study will investigate how explainable AI can increase transparency for the usage of AI chatbots and what the implications towards the skills and abilities for high school students. The study contributes to the identification of features of an AI chatbot that would increase awareness among the users and to suggest improvements towards the guidelines for high school teachers based on a responsible and ethical perspective. This study uses a qualitative and abductive research approach and N-study as the research design. The theoretical basis for this study is based on theories of generative AI, responsible AI, AI ethics and explainable AI however there are also theories about chatbots and information systems. The collection of empirical data, there were two interviews that were conducted with two teachers from two different highschools, in addition the empirical data was collected through a questionnaire that was sent out to two different highschools. The conclusion for the study was based on explainable AI that could be implemented into various scenarios to reduce the problems that may arise from usage of generative AI, it is not possible to fully stop students from plagiarizing however explainable AI can contribute to increased learning in the process.
