Sammanfattning

Besides being around for around 70 years in human history, Artificial Intelligence (AI)—the technology behind ChatGPT— gained widespread attention in 2022. Within days of its release, ChatGPT amassed millions of users, increasing awareness of the technology and overcoming the "AI Winters" it went through in the past. Currently, artificial intelligence is at the heart of many important debates and recently influenced the awarding of two NobelPrizes in the fields of chemistry and physics for its contributions to humankind. It is very likelyt hat AI has evolved into an improved method of invention, serving as an enabler for 5technology entrepreneurship. From intelligent chats to self-driving cars, artificial intelligenceis embedded in our daily lives. This thesis explores the intersection of AI agentic systems and opportunity exploitation intechnology entrepreneurship. AI agentic systems often include large language models, alsoreferred to as "stochastic parrots." Despite the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, the specific mechanisms by which entrepreneurs exploit AI-driven opportunities remain underexplored. This research addresses this gap by investigating how AI agenticsystems influence the opportunity exploitation process. Through an exploratory qualitativestudy involving 26 semi-structured interviews with AI practitioners and experts, the studyi dentifies key themes and develops the FLOCK framework. This framework captures the iterative, non-linear nature of AI entrepreneurship, emphasizing problem-centric approaches, dual community engagement, pragmatic implementation, and continuous recalibration. The findings highlight the importance of problem framing, an experimental mindset, and the evolving resource requirements in AI ventures. The thesis contributes to both entrepreneurship theory and practical guidance for entrepreneurs, investors, and support organizations navigating the complexities of AI implementation.
