Sammanfattning

The concept of Augmented Reality (AR) is where the user can interact with digital objects as if they existed in the real world. In collaboration with Meadow, this study explores the essential features for creating a successful AR game while supporting cooperative, playful interactions among users. Through analysis of existing AR games, related research, and the development of a prototype, the project also investigates how an AR platform originally designed for immersive AR artwork can be extended to support interactive game experiences. The findings identify key components necessary towards enabling cooperative play through location-based AR and demonstrate the potential to expand digital art platforms into playful interactive environments.
