This project aims to evaluate how complex products can be presented effectively in digital environments. The study is based on the challenges that arise as an increasing number of consumers choose to shop through digital platforms instead of physical stores, which reduces the customer’s ability to examine and fully understand the product. The work begins with an information search to highlight the current state of knowledge and to enable an analysis of the methods available today, as well as to identify what makes them advantageous or disadvantageous. Subsequently, alternative solutions are generated based both on new ideas and on the knowledge acquired throughout the course of the work, before all solutions are thoroughly analyzed, compared, and discussed both in general terms and in the context of company-specific conditions and their impact. In addition, this study aims to include an implementation of a selected visualization method on a company website. This company was Weatherproof Family which was used as a case study for this project. After evaluation and company-specific comparison, including quantitative tools such as Pugh matrices, a final visualization method was selected. The chosen method was an interactive 3D visualization. The implementation consists of a 3D model which can be integrated into the company’s existing web platform, with functionality developed in external software. The solution enables users to interact with the product in real time through features such as rotation, zoom, and 360-degree viewing. The results of this study indicate that a combination of multiple digital visualization methods, where static images are complemented by an interactive 3D visualization, provides an effective solution for improving the customers understanding of complex products in a digital environment. The interactive model enhances the user’s ability to understand the product’s design, proportions, and structure, while also offering a more engaging user experience. The study also shows that the technology has potential for further development through additional features and optimization.
