As artificial intelligence (AI) has been implemented to anincreasing extent, the need to understand its impact on usercentered methods in IT system development has grown. Atthe same time, organizations face challenges due to the rapidprogress of technology. The issue revolves around how AI'srapid development affects work roles and workflows. Thisstudy addresses the need to understand these roles in a timeof increasing AI adoption and the impact it may have on usercentered work. The purpose of the bachelor's thesis was toinvestigate product owners' and UX experts' perceptions ofthe opportunities and risks associated with AI and tounderstand how the technology influences their workprocesses. The study was conducted with a qualitativeapproach, using semi-structured interviews with threeproduct owners and three UX experts as the basis for datacollection. The material was analyzed thematically with thesupport of the Technology Acceptance Model 3, which servedas the theoretical framework. The results showed that AI is primarily perceived as a tool toautomate repetitive tasks, enable data-driven decisions, andstreamline design processes. However, respondentshighlighted challenges such as technical anxiety, limitedcontextual understanding, and the need for organizationalsupport. The study also revealed that AI impacts work roles, with product owners perceiving an increased strategicdimension, while UX experts view AI as both a potentialthreat and a tool to enhance their work. AI offers significantopportunities for improved user-centeredness, but itseffectiveness depends on adequate organizational supportand awareness of the technology's limitations. The studycontributes to an understanding of the opportunities and risksof integrating AI into work processes and provides guidancefor future research in this area
