Sammanfattning

We show relations between sequences equidistributed modulo 1 and those that satisfy Benford's law. We will also look at some data sets to see if they follow Benford's law, using a chi-square test. Changing the base in which we represent the data should not change if it follows Benford's law or not, so our intent is to test the fit in at least two bases. The data following Benfords law being a good model can be disproven entirely if it isn't a good fit in either base, similarly it can be considered likely to be Benford if it is a good fit in both bases, but if it only fits in one base and not the other we can suspect data that is only superficially Benford.
