Research questions: How is internal knowledge transfer and trust facilitated in a hybrid workarrangement? Purpose: This research aims to contribute to ongoing conversation about the changing conditions of internal knowledge transfer, and trust in hybridorganizations post-pandemic. Method: This study is of qualitative nature and explores how internal knowledgetransfer and trust are facilitated in a hybrid work arrangement. A singlecase company was chosen, a large multinational firm with establishedhybrid work arrangements. Data was collected through seven semi-structured interviews and participant observations over four weeks. Anabductive approach allowed theory and data to inform each otherthroughout the process. A thematic analysis was conducted to identifypatterns and draw insights from the participants’ experiences. Conclusion: I n a hybrid work arrangement, internal knowledge transfer and trust arefacilitated though a mix of structured communication, clear routines andinformal everyday interactions. While digital tools and formal meetingssupport knowledge transfer across distance, spontaneous face to facecontact remains very important, especially for building trust and sharinginformal or complex knowledge.
