This study examines how hybrid work affects the psychosocial work environment and boundaries between work and private life, focusing mainly on recruiters experience. Quick changes of digitalization have changed the classic work structures that we know, into more flexible and location independent forms. This has raised concerns about social interaction and how individuals manage boundary management. The aim of the study is to investigate the impact hybrid work has on social relations between colleagues and the workplace community. It also aims to gather information to how recruiters manage psychosocial conditions and boundaries in work. This study applies a qualitative approach and was based on semi structured interviews which included six recruiters from different organizations that work with recruitment. The findings show that hybrid work is a flexible work form that has its benefits and challenges. Some challenges that the study found were that decreased physical interaction may result in professional isolation. Results also show that the individual gets a lot of freedom to handle their work boundaries which sometimes results in a lack of social support. This showed that boundary management between work and private life is a major challenge with unclear boundaries result in higher stress levels and reduced recovery. The study concludes that hybrid work puts pressure on the individual to manage their work independently while also highlighting the need for organizational support a stable ground for a sustainable psychosocial work environment.
