Ledarskap i organisationer : En studie om AIs påverkan i det offentliga sektorn

Artificial intelligence has become a current phenomenon that engages many people, from everyday individuals to professionals. It has spread on social media for several years and has affected us both nationally and internationally. This smart technology has given rise to rumors suggesting that all jobs could be replaced by AI and robots in the future, which creates concern among many people, especially the elderly. The purpose of this study is to examine both leaders' and employees' experiences of AI applications, and the reasons why their work and work environment may have been affected in some way. A qualitative research design was applied, involving interviews with eight participants, four leaders and four employees. The leaders share their experiences regarding the new technology and how it has affected and will affect their work and leadership in the future. The leaders state that they need to communicate more clearly with their employees and that employees have increased concerns due to the development of AI. The employees in the study believe that AI will affect them both positively and negatively. Individual leaders need to be well-prepared and confident in the face of a major change. The leaders and employees in the study consider AI to be incredibly new for everyone to adapt to, which may have led to a decrease in trust in AI, but they remain optimistic about the future.
