Sammanfattning

This study investigated how a quality assurance system can be designed to meet both internal quality requirements and external customer-specific requirements at the company MF Produktion. To establish a theoretical foundation for the analysis, data collection within quality management and previous research were applied. The data collection was conducted as a case study with a development-oriented and iterative approach, where a current-state and gap-analysis formed the basis of the empirical data. The results show that a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), along with associated documentation templates and a classification tool, could be successfully integrated into a digital support tool. The templates were designed with a focus on work efficiency to facilitate the quality assurance process. Challenges that arose during the workflow were addressed through observations, staff involvement, and the iterative development of the documents. The implementation of the developed quality assurance framework provides the company with better capabilities to meet customer requirements and maintain its high quality over time. As future recommendations, MF Produktion should work continuously with the developed system, together with the relevant personnel, to ensure long-term quality standards.
