Digitala informationssystem – stöd eller belastning i förskolans administrativa arbetsprocesser?

Through semi-structured interviews with preschool staff, the study investigates whether digital information systems support or burden the administration of preschools, viewed from the preschool staff's experiences. The results show that digital information systems are in several cases experienced as support in the preschool's administrative work. At the same time, it is clear that the use of digital information systems can also be a burden. In connection with this, needs for improvement are identified. The study revolves around sociotechnical theory as a tool for the analysis, while work system framework (WSF) is initially used to illustrate the study area. The study concludes with possible recommendations, including a newly developed conceptual model that we have named information dual context model (IDCM).
